Privacy Policy

GoUK is a free tool from X8IQ that helps international founders check how ready they are to expand to the UK. This page explains, in plain English, what we collect and how you stay in control. It sits alongside the X8IQ privacy policy at x8iq.com, which covers the full detail.

What we collect

When you use GoUK, you give us: your name and email; your company name, country, and website; answers about your stage, revenue, funding, and your thinking on the UK; and optionally a pitch deck and a copy of your LinkedIn profile that you paste in.

When you run a report, we also look at public information about your company, such as your website and public news or filings. We only use sources that are already public.

We do not ask for, and you should never send, anything sensitive like bank details, ID numbers, or passwords.

What we do with it

We use what you give us to do one thing: generate your UK readiness report. To do that, your information is processed by trusted third-party providers that power the assessment. It is used only to create your report, not to train any models. The providers we rely on are listed in the X8IQ privacy policy at x8iq.com.

If your report comes back as a strong fit, we offer to write a short introduction email for you to send to the GoUK team. You send it yourself, from your own mail app, and you decide whether to send it at all. We never send anything on your behalf.

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers.

How long we keep it

We keep your profile and reports so you can come back and see them. You can delete your account and everything in it at any time, from the menu in the app. When you do, we remove your profile, your answers, your deck, and your reports. That is permanent.

One honest limit: if you have already sent the introduction email, it sits in your own Sent folder and in the recipient inbox. You sent it from your own mail app, so it is outside GoUK and we cannot reach in and delete it. Everything we hold, we delete.

Your rights

You own your data. You can see what we hold, correct it (edit your profile any time), and delete it. If you are in the UK or EU, you have these rights under data protection law. To exercise any of them, use the contact route in the X8IQ privacy policy at x8iq.com.

Cookies

We use only what is needed to log you in and keep the app working. No advertising trackers.
